The Lakeside Village Outlet Centre provides discount shopping for major brands of clothing, footwear, sportswear, homewares, music, books, gadgets and confectionery. It was first opened as the Yorkshire Outlet in 1998, it has already undergone a major expansion and now provides over 40 shops as well as a children’s play area and cafés. Just a short distance from the motorway (M18), it is a draw for shoppers from a wide area and even the large car park can get full at peak times.
