As its name suggests, this building was originally designed for the corn trade in 1864 by Cuthbert Broderick (who also created Leeds Town Hall). The building is a marvel of architecture, from inside, the dome structure and glass roof allows sound to travel and light to glisten into the building. The construction was renovated and then re-opened in 1990 to become a popular shopping arcade for original, funky boutiques, music shops and healthy cafés.
