Tooting Market has for many years been one of the ‘larders of south London’. It is a covered facility just off the High Street. Inside the market is crammed with dozens of stalls mainly selling foodstuffs from around the world. It is possible to buy delicacies from almost anywhere on the globe in the market, but there is a definite bias towards Caribbean food. The market does have some stalls selling non food items such as clothing and books.
